Tell us about your business, and what makes it special to you?
My works - are a visualization of emotions. They are personal and inspired by nature and landscapes.
Tell us about the defining moment that propelled you to start your business, or follow your dreams.
I always have been "that artist of the family" (since my first artwork hung on the wall of my mother's house). I started painting much earlier than talking or running, right around 2,5 years old. My career as an artist started from there and I was always following my dreams. The defining moment was the decision to enter the Academy of Arts. The program lasted 6 years, so my future as an artist was definitely clear by the end.
What problem is your business solving? Why is this personal to you?
I think my art projects a kind of spiritual motivation, which gives you the opportunity to think in a different way. It's all about indirect communication. Also, during the pandemic I think the art brings joy and evokes innocence which is so important to our spirits.
Tell us how you stay inspired as an entrepreneur.
I just can't imagine the world around and my own world without ART. It's a universal way of communication, so I really don't need any extra inspiration - it's the way I am living, thinking and acting day by day. It seems the more hard times we are going through - the more important the figure of Art and Artist become. People who are visiting my recent solo show in Barcelona - confess that it makes their days, gives new energy, delivers hope, happiness...and this is really inspiring because it makes me feel that my art does its job - communicating with people and giving each of them what the need to "see something" in an art piece. It's amazing when kids are lingering to play among the sculpture - flores, they like it and ask their parents to come back the next day, and many do!
Tell us about a defining career milestone or job that impacted your personal trajectory.
I was lucky to find a gallery in Barcelona (Galeria Victor Saavedra), which believes in my work and gives me the opportunity to grow in a different art discipline. The five years of working in Barcelona have been the most productive and creative in all my artistic adult life.
Tell us about a woman who inspired you.
Grandma, 92 years old and she is still the strongest in the family!
Do you feel you've mastered work/life balance? What could be improved or what would you like to work on?
I think there is a bunch of improvement that could be made. But! Here and now I am doing really great with work/life balance!
How do you release and unwind?
A day of silence - it's a perfect recovery :)
What's the next big step for your business?
I will be presenting a new sculpture project.
Is there a quote/mantra that guides you?
I think I am blessed to find my world inside me.
